Protect Feature

Who can set this: Leaders and Publishers on the project.

The Protect feature prevents the download of a file within Projecis by those that are not Leaders or Publishers on the project.  The file can be viewed within the system, but the "Download File" option is unavailable to those on the project that are not Leaders or Publishers.

When a Leader or Publisher uploads a file:

• Within the upload screen, in the Security section, is "Protect File Downloads" option.
• Set to "Protect" if you want to prevent downloads by non-Leaders/Publishers

Protecting a File already uploaded:

• A Leader or Publisher will have access to "Edit Properties" in the file preview screen.
• In the Edit Properties screen, the Security section will be available with the "Protect File Downloads" option.
